Diego Luna's flexing his funny bone this week as one of the many stars in Will Ferrell’s Spanish-language flick, "Casa de mi Padre," but it's certainly not a joke when we say we’ve been crushing on him for a long time. Like, from the moment we muttered the phrase, "Y Tu Mama Tambien." In honor of his big-screen reunion with "Tambien" co-star and former Hump Day Hottie Gael Garcia Bernal, we’re naming Diego this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Diego and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Diego, 32, grew up in Mexico, and both of his parents worked in the industry—his mom was a costume designer and his dad was a set designer. Sadly, his mom died when he was young, so his dad mentored him in show business, and Luna took his spot in front of the camera. I mean, he certainly is dreamy enough for it. Unlucky for us all, however, Diego is married to actress Camila Sodi, with whom he has two kids.

Where you might have already seen him: As a budding star in his native Mexico, he caught the world’s attention alongside Gael in the sexy drama, “Y Tu Mama Tambien,” playing friends who fall in love with the same older woman. They also famously lip-locked in that flick. He has since made a name for himself in a number of films including “Frida,” “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights,” “Contraband,” “The Terminal” and “Milk.”

Why you should take notice of him now: This week he’ll have us laughing (and swooning) in "Casa de mi Padre," which is part comedy, part Spaghetti-Western. Next up, he’s doing a 180 and starring alongside Matt Damon in the Neill Blomkamp alien-themed drama "Elysium.”

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Diego by staring at the photo above!
